Kumbhalgarh Fort is a Mewar fortress in the Rajsamand District of Rajasthan state in western India. Located 102 kms away from Udaipur, Kumbhalgarh Fort is said to be one of the prominent forts of Rajasthan. Kumbhalgarh is also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great king and warrior of Mewar. Fort is surrounded by 13 mountain peak and seven strong gates ways 300 different jain temple and 60 different Hindu temples, watching towers and water holes . This Hillfort is now listed for world heritage monuments.
